Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be issued for domain purchases from Day by Day Digital. Because domains are digital assets, all sales are final once a transfer has been initiated. Limited exceptions are outlined below.
Policy at a glance
- Before transfer starts: refunds may be possible in specific cases (see §2).
- After transfer starts or completes: sales are final (§3).
- Non-refundable: escrow/marketplace fees, registrar renewals, taxes, bank/FX fees (§4).
- Typical transfer time: 5–7 business days, depending on registrar and buyer action.
Contents
1) Scope & Definitions
This policy applies to domain purchases directly from Day by Day Digital or via our branded landing pages. “Transfer” means an inter-registrar transfer using an auth code or an in-registrar account push. “Initiated” means we have issued an auth code or executed a push/ transfer action.
2) When a Refund May Be Issued
- Seller-side error prevents transfer: a rare issue on our side makes transfer impossible.
- Duplicate/overpayment: accidental duplicate payment for the same domain.
- Clear listing/pricing error (obvious misprice): discovered before transfer begins.
- Fraud/compliance concerns: we cancel for risk-prevention or legal reasons prior to transfer.
- Payment not cleared: funds never settle/escrow does not release; the order is cancelled.
Note: In eligible cases, we refund the amount actually received, less any non-recoverable third-party costs (see §4), unless the error is solely ours.
3) When a Refund Will Not Be Issued
- After transfer starts or completes, including where buyer does not act promptly with registrar emails.
- Change of mind / typo / rebrand after purchase.
- SEO/traffic expectations not met or third-party valuation disagreements.
- Trademark or legal due-diligence issues discovered by buyer post-purchase.
- Registrar account limitations on buyer side (e.g., wrong TLD settings, locked account).
4) Non-Refundable Fees & Costs
- Escrow fees (e.g., Escrow.com), marketplace/brokerage fees (e.g., Afternic/GoDaddy), and payment processing fees.
- Registrar renewal/transfer fees, WHOIS privacy, add-ons, or premium registry surcharges.
- Bank/FX conversion fees and applicable taxes/duties.
5) Timing & Method of Refunds
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible (or via escrow reversal).
- Processing time depends on the provider: banks/cards may take 5–10 business days to post funds.
- If paid via escrow/marketplace, their refund timelines and procedures apply.
- Refund currency is normally the original transaction currency (USD) minus any non-recoverable third-party fees (unless error is solely ours).
6) How to Request a Refund
Contact us as soon as possible and before transfer begins, including:
- Domain name, date of payment, amount, and payment method/reference.
- Your contact info and registrar account (if already provided).
- Reason for the request and any supporting evidence (e.g., duplicate charge).
Send your request to daybydaydigital367@gmail.com or WhatsApp +55 31 99164-9588. We aim to respond within 1 business day.
7) Chargebacks & Disputes
Please contact us first—most issues are solved quickly. Unwarranted chargebacks may result in reclaiming the domain and recovering associated fees. If legal action is required, the governing law and venue follow our Terms of Service.
8) Third-Party Platforms
If you buy through a marketplace or escrow service, that platform’s refund rules apply in addition to this policy. Where there is a conflict, the platform’s rules for that transaction will govern.
9) Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
